Coach Benton 


Coach Benton graduated from Palm Beach Lakes High School in West Palm Beach, FL. He was coached by the legendary Floyd Andrews. He then attended Georgia Tech University for two years. Coach graduated from Cal State University, Bakersfield with a degree in Mathematics. He has been a math teacher with the Conejo Valley Unified School District for 15 years. He coached boys basketball at Westlake High School District for 10 years and was the assistant girls coach for Thousand Oaks for 2 years. He has been married to Janice for 19 years and has two children, Kevin and Lizabeth.



Coach Deamer

Junior Varsity

Coach Deamer has lived in Thousand Oaks since TOHS Girls Basketball was winning CIF Southern Section Championships (91-93). Later in the ’90’s, Bob began coaching Conejo Valley youth basketball with his son’s and then his daughter’s travel teams, winning 3 championships with Katie’s teams. In 2007, Coach Bob began working with the Girls basketball program under Coach Rick Cromwell, first as the fall league varsity coach, then a few years later as JV assistant coach with Chuck Aplin, in 2012-13 and 2013-14. Bob’s JV teams won Marmonte League championships, and was named Marmonte League JV GBB Coach of the Year. Coach Bob brings a passion for performance and success in his program and is very fortunate to have had so many outstanding individuals as players on his squads.



Coach Kesena


Coach Kacena was raised in Westchester, CA. He played 2 years of varsity basketball at Loyola High School. In his junior year the team was CIF AA runner ups and State runner ups. After graduation , Coach attended California Lutheran University and earned his degree in exercise science. He has been the Firewood Middle School 8th grade boys and for two years. He coaches the 5th grade team with VC Ellite as well as coaching the Frosh/Soph team here at TOHS. He is a personal trainer for both kids and adults. Jason aspires to continue perfecting his craft as a strength conditioning coach.
